Canadian businesses with 1–8 people that want a practical IT foundation, a familiar support team and optional cybersecurity or online presence services. Small Business IT Canada provides remote service across Canada. Onsite availability and any associated costs are confirmed by location. Small Business IT Canada is provided by Atomic Guardian Inc.; its broader managed IT services suit larger teams and more extensive requirements.
Essential IT documentation, monitoring on enrolled systems, business-hours alert review, one support call of up to 30 minutes per business each month, and a team that knows your setup. Quick questions under 10 minutes are generally unbilled and do not use the included call. Your business documentation is available on request.
Protect adds business login safeguards, supported email threat filtering, monitored credential exposure alerts, staff security awareness training, and security monitoring on covered computers. It also includes 1 TB of basic backup, scheduled weekly with 30-day retention. Our team also maintains the included security services and reviews security alerts during business hours. Your price includes this ongoing work, in addition to the one monthly support call of up to 30 minutes included in both plans. We confirm compatible platforms and coverage in your quote.
Complete onboarding by December 31, 2026 to start Base at $250/month or Protect at $500/month. That becomes your ongoing pricing base, rather than resetting to the standard $325/month or $700/month rate. Future annual adjustments may apply under your agreement. Read the offer terms.
The monthly plan fee is per business for 1–8 people. Adding an employee within that range does not itself increase the fee. Staff setup, additional licences and services outside your agreed coverage may cost extra.
A professional business website, your business domain registration and renewal, hosting, domain/DNS management, basic security updates from time to time and occasional site backups. We also help with search fundamentals, your Google Business Profile and basic traffic reporting. Website setup is $1,000, and the add-on follows your chosen plan’s term. Before we build, we agree the pages, revisions and routine changes with you. If you need ongoing content, advertising or a more extensive website, we can quote that separately. See the IT Online terms.
A 36-month agreement waives the Base or Protect plan onboarding fee. On a 12-month agreement, plan onboarding is $800 for Base or $2,000 for Protect. If you add IT Online, its separate $1,000 website onboarding fee applies with either term and is not waived.
Your first payment covers any onboarding fees and the first month’s service, plus applicable taxes. The form below shows your itemised total before tax. Once your agreement is approved and payment is received, we can begin onboarding. See the billing terms.
Send your plan selection and business details. We’ll confirm your setup, costs and an onboarding schedule before you commit. Timing depends on your systems and access; we do not promise a fixed onboarding deadline before reviewing your environment.
Both packages include one support call of up to 30 minutes per business each month. Calls taking less than 10 minutes are generally unbilled and do not use that included call. Calls assessed as billable use a 30-minute minimum and further 30-minute increments. Your first eligible monthly call uses the included 30 minutes; if it runs longer, the extra time is billed in 30-minute increments. Monitoring and included security maintenance do not use the support call.
Additional business-hours remote support is $95 per 30-minute block ($190/hour equivalent), with a 30-minute minimum per billable call. Calls under 10 minutes are generally unbilled. For example, after your included monthly call has been used, a 15-minute billable call costs $95; a 40-minute billable call costs $190. If your included call lasts 40 minutes, the extra time costs $95. Amounts are CAD plus tax. Onsite work has a separate $225/hour rate and 2-hour minimum, plus $75 travel per trip where available. Projects, incident response and recovery are quoted separately.
Plan onboarding is $800 for Base or $2,000 for Protect on a 12-month agreement, and waived on a 36-month agreement. IT Online has a separate $1,000 website onboarding fee with either term. At 12 months, total onboarding with IT Online is $1,800 for Base or $3,000 for Protect; at 36 months it is $1,000 for either plan. Website template licensing needed for the agreed build is covered by website onboarding. Domain registration and renewal and website hosting are included in the add-on. Other licences and services are itemised in your quote.
We review alerts during business hours and explain what needs attention. Routine monitoring and Protect’s included security maintenance are covered by the plan. Troubleshooting outside those activities follows the included-call and additional-support rules. We confirm additional work and charges before proceeding. Monitoring does not guarantee every issue will be detected or automatically repaired.
Protect includes 1 TB of basic backup per business, with weekly backups and 30-day retention for the agreed systems and data. It provides a basic safety net. Work created or changed between weekly backups may not be recoverable from the last backup. If one or two computers hold significant intellectual property, valuable client work or other important business data, we recommend upgrading to more frequent backups and recovery coverage suited to that work. The quote confirms what is backed up. Additional capacity, upgraded backup, disaster recovery, incident response and 24/7 security operations are quoted separately. IT Online includes occasional website backups as a separate feature.
We review your needs and quote a service suited to your larger team. Atomic Guardian offers managed IT and co-managed options for growing businesses.
The Atomic Guardian MSA governs terms not expressly addressed in your signed Small Business IT Canada quote or service agreement. Small Business IT Canada has a 12-month default agreement, with a 36-month option that waives the plan onboarding fee. Monthly payment and cancellation are governed by your signed agreement and the MSA; 60 days’ written notice does not remove an agreed minimum-term commitment. Commitments under an individual statement of work may continue; review your quote and the MSA before agreeing.
We’ll confirm the fit, show your first payment and ongoing monthly fees in writing.
Request your quote here; no payment is taken. We begin onboarding once your agreement is approved and the initial payment is received.
